Workshop in the South of France

June 2nd-8th, 2007
South of France, at LaNapoule, about 30 minutes from Cannes.
It's a beautiful place to paint, seated on the banks of the French Rivera. Rich in artistic history, Cezanne, Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir and Matisse all painted there; they all went there for the light.

There will be one day off in the middle to rest, sightsee, paint or relax on a beach.
Price: approximately $1500 (slightly less for some rooms), depending on the location and/or size of the room. All rooms have good views, some rooms have ocean views or are a little larger. All rooms have a private bath.
Price includes:
Workshop, room (June 2nd-June 8th), breakfast and dinner.
(on weekends only breakfast will be included).
Spouses and friends are welcome at a reduced rate.
You will be responsible for your flight, rental car (if you want one), transportation to and from airport (the Nice airport is closest), and other meals.
I will check with Noele (my contact at LaNapoule) about shipping mineral spirits (They have mineral spirits there but they are not as odor free as Gamsol),or any other art supplies, for those that don't want to take them as baggage.
LaNapoule is only a half hour from the Nice airport. There is a bus and train station at the airport and across the street from LaNapoule.
I will have more specific information for the participants as we get closer.
